Position Title: Demi Chef
(3 positions in pastry kitchen, Production kitchen and a-la-carte kitchen)
Location:
BGR Foodservice @ Bangi Golf Resort, Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor
Responsibilities:
1) Follow company’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in the preparation and cooking of food.
2) Ensure all food are portion controlled according to SOP and are served or stored at the correct temperature.
3) Ensure proper storage to maintain the freshness of all food and ingredients.
4) Follow kitchen safety standards and sanitation practices.
5) Assist other kitchen staff when the need arises.
6) Willingness to adapt to changes and desire to try out new challenges.
7) Be able to follow Supervisor’s instruction and work independently.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years kitchen working experience.
- Vocational Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or related discipline has an advantage.
- Fresh graduates with a degree in Culinary Arts or related discipline are welcome to apply.
Language:
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia with guest, co-workers and management.
- Able to communicate in English is a plus.
Physical Ability:
- Candidate is required to be involved in physical work and will be expected to stand for long hours.
Position Title: Chef De Partie / Section Head
(4 positions at cold kitchen, pastry kitchen, production kitchen and a-la-carte kitchen)
Location:
BGR Foodservice @ Bangi Golf Resort, Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor
Responsibilities:
1) Execute company’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in the preparation and cooking of food.
2) Check and ensure that all food are portion controlled according to SOP and are served or stored at the correct temperature.
3) Check and ensure proper storage to maintain the freshness of all food and ingredients.
4) Execute kitchen safety standards and sanitation practices.
5) Follow company’s Quality Assurance Protocols and execute regular Quality Control checks.
6) To monitor stock movement and be responsible for ordering and inventory control.
7) Coordinate and supervise activities of other cooks and food preparation processes.
8) Be involved in administrative work as required.
9) Assist other kitchen department when the need arises.
10) Able to multi-task and work independently.
11) Have the desire for frequent new challenges and be willing to adapt to changes.
12) Be able to follow Operation Manager’s instruction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years kitchen working experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
- Degree, Vocational Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or related discipline has an advantage.
Language:
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia with guest, co-workers and management.
- Able to communicate in English is a plus.
